Hello,

We’re Leopoldo and Isadora Vieytes.

We’re a Canadian-Argentine sibling filmmaker duo in our early twenties and we have been collaborating creatively for as long as we can remember.

Born in Vancouver, BC, Canada, but raised in Quilmes, BA, Argentina, we chose our grandmother’s maiden name, ‘Chasco,’ to honor the strong women who brought us up. Even at the hardest of times, we were always encouraged to pursue our artistic interests and despite doing so almost always separately, we chose to now come together to play and create in film.

Currently based in the metro Vancouver area, we are proud to announce the completion of our first independent short film, "The Hermit" (Coming to a film festival near you!) is a story about struggle and loneliness that will feel familiar and uncomfortable.

We chose to create something personal and specific to us but that hopefully everyone can relate to. We're grateful to everyone who has been a part of the journey so far and we are very excited to continue to create and share.
